CYP719A14 structure analysis and its interaction with ligands via bioinformatic methods. Methods. Homologous modeling of three-dimensional enzyme. Molecular docking. Results. enzyme, which shows cheilanthifoline synthase activity, model was build based on results homologous modeling. Interaction built possible substrates – benzylisoquinoline compounds: (S)-Scoulerine, (S)-Cheilanthifoline, (S)-Tetrahydrocolumbamine, (S)-Reticuline investigated using molecular docking method, thermodynamic characteristics were calculated. Potential Ligand Access Chanel potential active center identified. Conclusions. is formed by aminoacids residues PHE57-GLY69, ALA285-ARG310, THR369-HSD390 researched, allowing to use discovered data in alkaloid engineering research aim improve Mexican argemone profile.

Antifungal and Anticancer Potential of Argemone mexicana L.
Background: Medicinal plants are widely used to treat infectious diseases, metabolic disorders and cancer. Argemone mexicana L. (A. mexicana), commonly found on desolate land of Marathwada (Maharashtra, India) has been used to treat oral cavity infections. Methods: In this study, cold aqueous and methanolic extracts were prepared from A. mexicana stem and leaves. These extracts were tested for ...

In the present study methanolic and ethyl acetate extracts of Argemone mexicana whole plant (Papaveraceae) were tested orally in swiss albino mice at doses of 100 mg/kg, 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg b.w. for CNS related activities. Papaveraceae family is known to have CNS depressant activity, so A. mexicana was evaluated for CNS activities. Significant central and peripheral nociceptive activity was...
متن کاملn-alkane profile of Argemone mexicana leaves.
An n-hexane extract of fresh, mature leaves of Argemone mexicana (Papaveraceae), containing thin-layer epicuticular waxes, has been analysed for the first time by TLC, IR and GLC using standard hydrocarbons. Seventeen long-chain alkanes (n-C18 to n-C34) were identified and quantified. Nonacosane (n-C29) was established as the n-alkane with the highest amount, whilst octadecane (n-C19) was the l...
